Numerous polls in Texas show a large intensity gap between the Republicans and Democrats. What does this mean on a grassroots level for local campaigns in Texas?
It means that the Democrats up and down the ballot are in general having trouble finding grassroots volunteers to do the important campaign work that is traditionally done by unpaid volunteers, like block walking and phone banking.
Now another Texas Democrat campaign is hiring paid block walkers in the “North Dallas” area. The following advertisement was found on the Democrat job posting website, Democratic GAIN.
The job advertisement also appears on Craigslist.
Any guess on what failed Democratic campaign this is for in the “North Dallas Area.”
